The university of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) is set to Commission an electric vehicle charging station provided by the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC).

The university of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) is set to Commission an electric vehicle charging station provided by the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC).

Myschoolnews reports the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) Abuja is a Federal Government agency leading the vision and mission of getting Nigeria to join the increasing global trend and efforts towards cleaner and sustainable environment.

 

 

 To achieve this, NADDC is pioneering policy formation, research and development, academia-industry collaboration, training, infrastructure development , etc. towards local design and manufacture of electric vehicles.

 

A solar electric vehicle charging station has been built in three federal tertiary institutions in Nigeria, including Usmanu Danfodyo University Sokoto, University of Lagos and University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

 

 That of UNN is the most recently completed and it is situated at Eni Njoku by Abuja road in UNN, on the way to New Vet from Odim.

 

This is to invite the entire UNN Community to the commissioning and official opening of NADDC-UNN Electric Vehicle Charging Station as follows:
