UPDATED: List of State Institutions Eligible for Student Loans

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the addition of twelve more state tertiary institution to the student loan application portal, increading the initial 36 state institution to 48. Students from the following state government-owned tertiary institutions can now visit http://nelf.gov.ng to apply for the loan.

The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced the addition of twelve more state tertiary institution to the student loan application portal, increading the initial 36 state institution to 48.

This was revealed in a press release signed by Nasir Ayitogo, the Head of Media and Public Relations. The statement read, “The Management of Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) is delighted to announce the onboarding of an additional twelve (12) state government-owned tertiary institutions to the student loan application portal.”

The newly onboarded institutions are:

1.Abia State Polytechnic

2.Benue State University, Makurdi

3.College of Education, Waka-Biu

The Fund urges all institutions that are yet to submit their students data to the Student Verification Portal (SVS) of the fund to kindly do so to enable their students benefit from the scheme.
