YABATECH Opens Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening for 2026/2027 Academic Session

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has commenced applications for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise for admission into its full-time National Diploma (ND) programmes and B.Sc. (Education) Technical Education programmes affiliated with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
The college stated that the online application will remain open for four weeks from the date of publication.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates seeking admission must meet the following requirements:
- Choose Yaba College of Technology as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
- Obtain a minimum UTME score of 160 for admission into the National Diploma (ND) and 100 Level B.Sc. (Education) Technical Education programmes affiliated with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
- Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the 200 Level B.Sc. (Education) Technical Education programmes must also apply through the college portal.
- Be at least 16 years old on or before September 30, 2026.
- Candidates who selected YABATECH as their second or third-choice institution must first change to the college as their first-choice institution through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal before applying.
How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to:
- Visit the YABATECH admission portal. http://www.yabatech.edu.ng
- Click on the "Post-UTME Screening 2026/2027" link.
- Complete the online application by following the instructions provided.
- Pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000. The fee excludes result verification charges and other transaction fees.
- Payments should be made online or through approved banking channels, as the college does not accept cash payments.
Important Instructions
The college advised applicants to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration, as candidates will be held responsible for any errors.
- Ensure consistency in their names and passport photographs across their O'Level certificates, UTME records and all other admission documents.
- Note that any discrepancy in names or photographs may result in disqualification.
- Understand that failure to comply with the admission guidelines may also lead to disqualification.
