"Young Pantami" Khalid Salis Rabiu Emerges as Overall Best Graduating Student at Northwest University

Young Pantami, officially known as Khalid Salis Rabiu from Jos, Plateau State, graduated as the best graduating student from Northwest University, Kano.

Khalid Salis Rabiu grew up as an orphan after the passing of his beloved father. That was not an excuse to abandon education. He was encouraged by his mother and others around him to keep going. He is very popular in Jos and Kano as Young Pantami (@Young_Pantami) due to my modest influence on his life.

Furthermore, my influence on his life led him to study Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Northwest University. I used to communicate with him virtually. Three years ago, he visited me personally in Abuja, where he spent his days with me at home.

Some of the qualities I witnessed in him include hard work, calmness, self-development, and his eagerness to stay around me to ask more questions and get tips for a successful career, educationally, technologically, and spiritually. 

Interestingly, he graduated last year, 2025G. Yes. He graduated with a First Class degree in ICT, as the best graduating student of his department, the best graduating student in his Faculty, and the best graduating student of his university. In my opinion, it is easier to achieve success through hardship and difficulty than through luxury and ease.

He left the NYSC Camp yesterday. Today, he visited me with his First Class degree. In addition, he presented me with a plaque of "Thank You" for mentorship and another image of mine. 

The successes of our mentees excite us more than our successes. In life, the greatest success is to mentor others to attain success. This is what makes a society become more prosperous and also have succession for today and the future. 

May Allah continue to guide our mentees to attain more successes in life.
