Lt. Col. A.B. Inuwa, Commanding Officer of the 177 Guards Battalion, Nigerian Army Keffi, has reaffirmed the Army's steadfast support for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme in Nasarawa State. This commitment was emphasized during a recent familiarization visit by NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Salamatu Abdurrahman Muhammad, to the Shittu Alao Barracks in Keffi.

During the visit, Lt. Col. Inuwa assured Mrs. Muhammad of the Army’s ongoing dedication to the safety and security of corps members within the state. He reiterated the Army's readiness to maintain and strengthen its collaboration with the NYSC, underscoring the importance of their partnership in the successful execution of the Scheme.

Mrs. Muhammad expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and the continued cooperation between the NYSC and the Nigerian Army. She highlighted her visit's objective to fortify the existing partnership and acknowledged the Army's crucial role in supporting the NYSC's initiatives. She also appreciated Lt. Col. Inuwa’s participation in the National Flag-Off of the NYSC Tree Planting Campaign and the Battalion's contribution of disciplined personnel for orientation activities.

The visit concluded with Mrs. Muhammad expressing optimism for an even more productive collaboration between the NYSC and the Army. She was accompanied by Dr. Walbe Setka (AD CIM), Zonal Inspector Keffi Mrs. Idu Evangeline, Mr. Albert Adamu, and other NYSC staff members.
