2026 Ramadan: Modibbo Adama University Adjusts Closing Times for Staff

The Management of Modibbo Adama University (MAU), Yola, has officially announced a temporary rescheduling of working hours for all staff members in observance of the upcoming 2026 Ramadan fasting period.

The directive, contained in an internal memo dated February 18, 2026, and signed by the Registrar, Mustafa U. Migawa, aims to support staff during the sacred month while maintaining essential university operations.

Effective for the duration of the fasting period, the reporting and closing times have been adjusted as follows:

Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Fridays: 8:00 am – 1:30 pm

The Registrar advised all members of staff to strictly observe these rescheduled times throughout the period. In the official circular, the university management also extended warm wishes to the entire academic community for a peaceful and spiritually rewarding fasting season.

The memo was distributed to all principal officers, including the Vice-Chancellor, Deans, Directors, and Heads of Departments, to ensure uniform implementation across the institution.
