Federal University, Gashua Reopens Registration Portal for 2025/2026 Session

The Management of the Federal University, Gashua (FUGA), has approved the temporary reopening of the university registration portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.

In an internal memorandum dated February 19, 2026, signed by the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Auwal Namaliya Dachia, the university announced that the portal will be accessible from Friday, February 20, to Friday, February 27, 2026.

All newly admitted students who are yet to finalize their registration are strongly advised to utilize this one-week window. The management emphasized that no further extensions will be granted, and no registration will be accepted after the stated February 27 deadline.

Late Registration Fee for Returning Students

Returning students who failed to complete their registration within the original timeframe are also eligible to use the portal during this period. However, they are required to pay a mandatory late registration fee of ₦10,000.

The directive, issued on behalf of the Registrar, has been formally communicated to the Director of ICT for immediate implementation. Principal officers, including the Vice-Chancellor, Bursar, Deans, and Heads of Departments, have been notified to ensure seamless compliance across all academic units.

Students are encouraged to visit the official university portal promptly to complete their documentation and avoid any disruption to their academic status.
