The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has celebrated the exceptional academic journey of Covenant Ogunyale, who graduated with First Class Honours in Accounting during the institution’s 56th Convocation Ceremony held this week in January 2026.

Ogunyale’s achievement was formally recognized by the Vice-Chancellor, who lauded her as a standout performer among the 2024/2025 graduating cohort. Her academic record is defined by a consistent pursuit of excellence that extended beyond the university’s internal curriculum.

In addition to her first-class degree, Ogunyale distinguished herself on the global stage as an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Prize Winner and Recognition Holder.
