A total of 2,804 Corps Members from the 2023 Batch C Stream I have successfully completed their one-year service in Ogun State. The completion ceremony, held across the state, was marked by a low-key celebration where outgoing Corps Members received their Certificates of National Service.

During a farewell address at the Abeokuta Zonal office, Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu, the State Coordinator of NYSC Ogun State, congratulated the Corps Members for their dedication and commitment throughout the service year. She praised their contributions across various sectors, including education, health, and agriculture, noting that their positive impact has been felt throughout the state.

However, Mrs. Nasamu pointed out that not all Corps Members concluded their service without incident. Sixteen members had their service year extended due to various offenses, while 37 were remobilized for abscondment. Tragically, two Corps Members lost their lives during the course of the year. The Coordinator paid tribute to these fallen members, acknowledging their sacrifice and extending condolences to their families.
