Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, has announced Friday, December 12, 2025, as the date for its 30th Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony for graduating Doctors of Optometry.

The announcement was contained in an official notice signed by the Registrar, Dr. Acho Elendu, who conveyed the invitation of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ndukwe J. Okeudo, on behalf of the Management and Senate of the university, to members of the academia, parents, guardians, and the general public.

The ceremony is scheduled to hold at the University Auditorium, Abia State University, Uturu, by 11:00 a.m. Guests are expected to be seated by 10:30 a.m. ahead of the Vice-Chancellor’s procession.

The event marks a major professional milestone for the graduands as they formally take the oath that ushers them into the optometry profession.
