The management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, through the University Security Services, has announced the commencement of identity card collection for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The exercise applies to 100-level students and 200-level Direct Entry students whose identity cards are now ready for collection.
The collection exercise is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 8, 2026, and will run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the ID Card Office, ABU Security Headquarters.

Collection Guidelines
The university management also issued strict conditions for collection of the identity cards:
Students must appear in person for collection; proxy collection is not allowed
A photocopy of the official admission letter must be presented
Students must strictly adhere to their assigned faculty schedule, as those who appear on non-designated days will not be attended to
The university emphasized that compliance with the schedule is mandatory to ensure smooth coordination of the exercise.
