The Vice-Chancellor of Alex-Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, Prof. Sunday Elom has restated his commitment to getting the Law programme of the University verified.

Myschoolnews reports, Prof. Elom stated this during the inauguration of the Committee on the Visit of Council of Legal Education, geared towards the resource verification of the programme.

 

While highlighting the  importance of the visit,  the Vice-Chancellor charged the Committee  to plan and arrange for a successful resource verification visit by the Council for Legal Education.

 

He assured of his administration’s preparedness to run an  enviable law programme  that would be the toast of legal education in Nigeria.

 

He therefore charged  the Committee to put everything in place for the visit , promising that he would always be available in case of emergencies.

 

While promising to discharge their mandate with every seriousness,  the Acting  Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr Onyekachi Eni responding on behalf of the Chairman of the Committee, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Abel.Ezeoha,  commended the Vice-Chancellor for vowing to make  the Law programme the top priority of his administration, and assured of the Committee’s commitment to the successful resource verification of the programme  by the Council of Legal Education.

 

The Committee is chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor,  Administration, Professor Abel Ezeoha. Other members of the committee include Dr . Jonny Ogunji, Barr. Titus  Ifeanyi Igwe , Dr Juliana Akidi, Dr Onyekachi Eni, Dr. Lawrence Ogugua, Engr Dr. Ngozi Eli- Chukwu , Prof. Agu G Agu, Dr Chris Igbokwe, Barr. Cosmos Nwedu, Qs Chidi . Ekpe and Dr. Uche Ufere – Okoroafor as the Secretary.
