Anambra State Geniuses Shine as 5th Annual "Best Brain Contest" Concludes

The 5th edition of the Best Brain Contest, the Anambra State Mathematics and Igbo Quiz Competition for Senior Secondary Schools, concluded yesterday, December 13, 2025, celebrating the academic supremacy of the state's brightest young minds. The event, held in Awka, saw students battling in a thrilling display of intellect, culture, and confidence.

The competition is a sustained initiative of the IG Aguowo Health and Academic Foundations and the Akpoazaa Group, hosted and founded by Dr. Frank Igbojindu, CEO of the Best Brain Contest.

Top schools from across Anambra participated, including UNIZIK High School, St. Patrick’s College (Awka), Loretto Special Science School (Adazi-Nnukwu), Christ the King College (Onitsha), and Bubendorff Memorial Grammar School (Adazi-Nnukwu). The competition featured a two-stage format designed to blend cultural depth with analytical brilliance, testing contestants first in Igbo Language and then in Mathematics.

After intense preliminary rounds, ten exceptional students advanced to the finals, keeping the audience on edge with their impressive speed, accuracy, and composure.
