For Secondary School Applicants

Academic Excellence: Candidates must have completed the Junior Secondary Certificate Examination (JSCE) with at least five distinctions (equivalent to ‘A’ grades) in relevant subjects, including credits in Mathematics and English Language, in one sitting.

Age Limit: Applicants should not exceed 18 years at the time of application.

Nationality: The scholarship is open exclusively to Nigerian nationals.

Parental Eligibility: Applicants must be children of either a confirmed employee of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc or an individual shareholder who has held shares for not less than five years.

Exclusivity: Applicants must not be recipients of any other scholarship.

For Undergraduate Applicants

Academic Record: Candidates should have completed the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent, achieving a minimum of five distinctions in subjects relevant to their chosen course of study (with at least a credit in Mathematics and English Language) at one sitting.

Age Requirement: Applicants should not be more than 25 years old during the application period.

Nationality and Parental Criteria: Similar to the secondary school category, the applicant must be a Nigerian and a child of either a confirmed employee or an individual shareholder of MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.

Exclusivity of Scholarship: No applicant should be a beneficiary of another scholarship programme.

Application Process for the MRS Oil Nigeria Plc Scholarship

Online Application: The application form should be completed online, including personal details, educational background, and contact information.

Required Documents: Applications must include scanned copies of essential credentials, such as JSCE results for secondary school students, SSCE results for tertiary level students, admission letters, birth certificates, school fees documents, and parent’s identification.
