Popular Nigerian actor Leonard Frederick has asked if Nigerian students would still vote for the All Progressive Congress come 2023 in light of the ongoing ASUU strike.

 Myschoolnews reports since the APC got into government in 2015, ASUU has gone on strike a number of times with the ongoing strike having lingered for six months since it started earlier in the year.

 The Nollywood star took to his Instagram page to ask this question saying,

 “Will any of these students currently on ASUU strike totally ignored by this government still vote for the current political party in the coming elections?

“I'm just asking respectfully. Or will they forget? Will they be brainwashed? Will they be bought because of the hunger deliberately created in the land? Or will they be brave enough to try something new and different, for a new and different result. I'm just asking.”

It is left to be seen if the students affected by the ASUU strike would still go ahead to return the APC to power in 2023 or go against the party.
