The university's decision to permit these students to remain in the hostels serves as a proactive measure to ensure their security, especially those encountering difficulties traveling to Bauchi due to distance or prevailing circumstances.
To facilitate and monitor the accommodation arrangement, ATBU has outlined specific procedures. Students choosing to stay in the hostels are required to sign an attendance sheet, providing their names and other relevant details. The management of this information will be overseen by the Hall Executive's Council (HEC SUG) and the Hostel Matron.
This initiative emphasizes the university's commitment to student safety and security, particularly amidst recent circumstances. By offering temporary residence in the hostels, ATBU aims to alleviate the concerns and challenges faced by female students, providing them with a safe environment within the university premises.
