ATBU Ensures Safety: Female Students Permitted to Stay in Hostels Amidst Circumstances

In response to recent events and to prioritize the safety and well-being of its female students, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has announced a crucial decision allowing female students facing challenges in commuting to Bauchi to reside in the university hostels until further notice.

The university's decision to permit these students to remain in the hostels serves as a proactive measure to ensure their security, especially those encountering difficulties traveling to Bauchi due to distance or prevailing circumstances.

To facilitate and monitor the accommodation arrangement, ATBU has outlined specific procedures. Students choosing to stay in the hostels are required to sign an attendance sheet, providing their names and other relevant details. The management of this information will be overseen by the Hall Executive's Council (HEC SUG) and the Hostel Matron.
