ATBU Management Reviews Cooking Gas Ban, Sets Up Committee

The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has initiated a review of the cooking gas ban on campus. A committee, appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, has been tasked with proffering sustainable guidelines for the use of cooking gas before provisional approval is granted.

 

The committee comprises representatives from various departments, including the Dean of Students' Affairs, the SUG President, the Acting Director of Works, the Acting Director of the Health Centre, and the Fire Unit.

In a related development, the university management has announced that strict rules will soon be enforced to address the issue of students tampering with hostel facilities. Students are advised to adhere to the guidelines to avoid any penalties.
