Ayede Poly Rector Wishes Muslims Joyous Eid-El-Kabir

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ayede, Oyo State, Engr. Dr. Taofeek Adekunle Abdul-Hameed, has felicitated Muslims on the occasion of the 1446 AH Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

In a statement, Dr. Abdul-Hameed congratulated the Muslim community and urged them to practicalize the real essence of the festival, emphasizing the importance of obedience, devotion, sacrifice, and faithfulness.

He highlighted the significance of Prophet Ibrahim's obedience to Almighty Allah and his willingness to sacrifice his son, which ultimately led to the substitution of a ram as a sacrifice. The Rector also emphasized the importance of giving to the poor and needy, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

Dr. Abdul-Hameed urged Muslims to prioritize the remembrance of Allah during the celebration and to pray for Nigeria and its leaders, citing the enduring impact of Prophet Ibrahim's prayers on his people. He concluded by enjoining Muslims to celebrate with modesty and to remember that there is life after the festive period.
