Business owners in Lafia’s Azuba Centre received valuable financial management advice and practical accounting training during a recent visit by the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Accounting Department. Dr. Tijani Ahmed Ajayi, who led the team, focused on teaching the businesses how to maintain accurate financial records, particularly in the agricultural sector.
“We designed a checklist to ensure the accounting system meets the unique needs of an agricultural processing center, with a focus on compliance, financial management, and operational transparency,” Dr. Ajayi explained.
