The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General YD Ahmed, has commended the dedication and performance of Corps Members who served as ad hoc staff during the Edo State gubernatorial election.

General Ahmed, who visited various Registration Area Centres (RACs) including Ogbe Primary School, Edaiken Primary School, Uselu, and Ewena Primary School in Benin City, praised the Corps Members for their adherence to electoral laws and their representation of the NYSC as worthy ambassadors. He emphasized that their contributions have etched their names and that of the NYSC into Nigeria's political history, stating that posterity would remember them positively.

While monitoring additional Corps Members at Igbesanwan Primary School and the Ministry of Education Complex at Iyaro, General Ahmed further acknowledged the NYSC electoral representatives for their steadfastness and patriotism during the election process.
