Baba Ahmed University Joins Global Community to Celebrate World Commonwealth Day 2026

Baba Ahmed University has joined nations across the globe to commemorate World Commonwealth Day 2026, reaffirming its commitment to the shared values of democracy, peace, and sustainable development.

The celebration highlighted the university’s role in fostering global citizenship and unity among the 56 member nations of the Commonwealth. In line with this year's global theme, the institution emphasized the importance of international cooperation in addressing climate change, economic growth, and educational advancement. 

Management noted that as an educational center, Baba Ahmed University remains dedicated to grooming leaders who uphold the Commonwealth’s common ideals of justice and mutual respect, ensuring a resilient future for the youth within the African sub-region and beyond.
