Bayero University Kano Alumnus, Dies Less Than 24 Hours After Wedding

 The Bayero University Kano (BUK) community is in deep mourning following the sudden and tragic passing of a recent alumnus, Abu Basheer, affectionately known as the "Marketing Guru," less than 24 hours after his wedding ceremony.

The devastating incident occurred without warning—no prior illness or accident was reported. Basheer, a member of the BUK Class of 2021 and a respected young trader in Northern Nigeria, had celebrated his nuptials just yesterday, with his wedding dinner scheduled for today, Saturday, December 27, 2025.
