Bayero University Kano Receives Accolades for Supporting Nigeria Arabic Language Village
Bayero University Kano (BUK) has received praise from the Nigeria Arabic Language Village for its timely intervention and support, which helped salvage the institution from imminent collapse.
The Director General of the Nigeria Arabic Language Village, Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, expressed his gratitude to BUK's management for initiating the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions.
The MoU has brought substantial benefits to the Nigeria Arabic Language Village, including the restoration of hope and confidence, reduction of academic staff exodus, and boosting of morale. The collaboration has also led to the promotion of five academic staff members of the Village to the Professorial cadre.
BUK's support has been instrumental in preventing academic decline at the Nigeria Arabic Language Village, providing a much-needed lifeline for the institution. The university's efforts have been recognized by the Governor of Borno State, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, who has provided facilities to support the Village's academic and administrative functions.
