Bayero University Kano Releases Updates on NELFUND Disbursement

 Bayero University Kano (BUK) has assured students that the disbursement of NELFUND money to verified applicants is underway.

According to a statement from the university's management, the delay is due to the need to separate applicants from non-applicants and compile data from NELFUND. The process is expected to be completed within the next week, after which disbursement will commence.

The university's Center for Information Technology (CIT) has confirmed that the funds are already in BUK's account, and the management is working diligently to ensure a smooth disbursement process.

Students are advised to remain patient and not make any payments until the disbursement is complete. The upkeep allowance is a federal government initiative, separate from school fees, and will be disbursed directly from NELFUND management.
