Bayero University Kano has announced the sad passing of Professor Hafiz Miko, a distinguished scholar and devoted intellectual, who died on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

At the time of his passing, Professor Miko had just been appointed as the pioneer Provost of the university's newly established College of Humanities.
