Bayero University Students' Union Cancels Educational Tour Due to Security Concerns

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Bayero University, Kano, has announced the cancellation of the educational tour scheduled for Saturday, July 26, 2025.

The tour, which was planned to coincide with the mid-semester break, included visits to Gidan Makama Museum, Minjibril Park, and an orphanage.

The cancellation follows a thorough consultation with the Deanery, Students' Affairs Division, Bayero University, Kano, which cited security threats as the reason for suspending the tour. The SUG prioritizes the safety and well-being of students and fully supports this decision.

Students who have made payments for the tour will receive a full refund, which will be processed in due course. The SUG assures students of its commitment to their welfare and interests.
