BUK Mourns Loss of Two Promising Students

Bayero University Kano (BUK) is grieving the loss of two students, Bayero Isah Hassan and Salim Suraj Muhammad, who passed away on November 22, 2025.

Bayero, a 300-level student from the Fisheries & Aquaculture department, died in a tragic road accident, while Salim, a 400-level Anatomy student, succumbed to kidney complications.

The university community remembers the students as dedicated, kind-hearted, and promising individuals who left a lasting impact. The Students' Union Government, BUK, led by Secretary General Abdulmudallib Kalli Sheriff, extends condolences to the families and offers prayers for forgiveness and comfort .
