BUK VC Advises SSANU Executives to Prioritize Dialogue

Bayero University Kano's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, has charged the newly elected executives of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) to prioritize dialogue over radicalism in their duties.

The Vice-Chancellor emphasized the importance of integrity, professionalism, and transparent leadership, reminding the union leaders that their election was a call to service, responsibility, and trust. He encouraged them to organize professional development programs and capacity-building initiatives to enhance members' skills and knowledge.

Professor Abbas assured the union of the university management's support, highlighting the importance of collaboration and trust. The SSANU Chairman, Comrade Mustapha Aminu, thanked the management for its continued support and cooperation.
