ASFECOM BUK Chapter Celebrates Members' Achievements

The Association of Female Congregation Members (ASFECOM), Bayero University Kano chapter, organized a meet and greet event to celebrate members who have distinguished themselves in various capacities within and outside the university.

The event, held on April 12, 2025, aimed to foster unity among academic and administrative female staff. The Minister of State for Education, Prof. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, a special guest and ASFECOM member, commended the large turnout and emphasized the importance of women's voices in driving positive change.

Prof. Ahmad expressed gratitude to her mentors, including former Minister of Education Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufai Ahmed, for their guidance and support. She encouraged the organizers to make the event annual, stating that "the reward for hard work is additional hard work and success."
