BUK Vice-Chancellor Commissions High-Tech Guard House at CDA, Applauds Centre’s Security Innovation

The Vice Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, on Wednesday, 4th June 2025, commissioned a newly constructed, high-tech Guard House at the Centre for Dryland Agriculture (CDA), praising the Centre’s visionary approach to security and technological integration.

Designed to enhance both physical and digital security, the Guard House features advanced biometric access systems and 24-hour surveillance capabilities, setting a new standard for institutional security within the university.
