CIEEE Confers Highest Honour and Special Award on KSU, Kabba Vice-Chancellor

The Certified Institute of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Education (CIEEE) has conferred its highest membership honour and a special award on Professor Eniola, the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of Kogi State University (KSU), Kabba.

The conferment ceremony was held on Wednesday at the University’s Council Chamber and attended by members of the university community.

Professor John Alabi, President of the CIEEE, presented the official Certificate of Confirmation to Professor Eniola. The award recognizes the Vice-Chancellor’s outstanding commitment to fostering entrepreneurship-driven education within the Nigerian university system.

During the ceremony, Professor Alabi also presented Professor Eniola with a first-of-its-kind "Dictionary of Entrepreneurship," described as a groundbreaking academic resource designed to deepen entrepreneurial understanding among scholars, students, and practitioners. This gesture reflects the Institute’s confidence in KSU’s emerging leadership in innovation and enterprise education.

In his acceptance speech, Professor Eniola thanked the Institute for the recognition and provided a clarified definition of entrepreneurship. He noted that it extends beyond arts and crafts, encompassing the diligent identification of problems, the application of specialized training to proffer solutions, and generating revenue during the process.
