College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru Appoints Three New Directors

The Provost of the College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru, Prof. Ali Manzo Usman, has approved the appointment of three new Directors to oversee the affairs of the newly established Centers and Directorates. The appointees are:

- ibrahim Yusuf Abdullahi: Director, Centre for Language Advancement (CEFLA)

    - Joined the College in 2000 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to become a Chief Lecturer in 2024

    - Obtained B.A Ed. (Arabic) from the University of Maiduguri and M.A Arabic from the University of Jos

    - Previously served as Head of Arabic Department and currently heads the Department of Arabic Medium

- Usman Nuhu: Director, Education Support Services (ESS)

    - Joined the College in 2002 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to become a Chief Lecturer in 2023

    - Obtained B.A Ed. (History) and M.Ed from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria

    - Served as Head of Department and Dean at several instances

- Muhammad Rabi'u Shu'aibu: Director, Centre for Islamic Thought and Civilization (CITC)

    - Joined the College in 2007 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to become a Principal Lecturer in 2024

    - Obtained B.A Degree in Islamic Studies from the University of Maiduguri, M.A (Principles of Jurisprudence) from Almadinah International University, Malaysia, and currently pursuing Ph.D at Yobe State University, Damaturu

    - Previously served as Deputy Dean and currently heads General Studies (Arts and Social Sciences)

The appointments, effective immediately, are for a period of two years, renewable. The Provost charged the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by the College Management .
