COOU Releases 2025/2026 Admission List on JAMB CAPS

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) has released the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Candidates who participated in the screening exercise can now check their admission status on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

To check admission status, candidates are to:

1. Visit https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng and log in with their registered email address and password.
2. Click on “Check Admission Status.”
3. Select “Access my CAPS.”
4. Click on “Admission Status” to confirm if an admission offer has been made.

Successful candidates will see their passport photograph displayed along with a congratulatory message. Those not yet offered admission will receive the response: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet.”

Candidates who have been admitted are required to either Accept or Reject the offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile. The acceptance of admission must be done within four weeks. Candidates without access to their registered phone number are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited centre to complete the process.

After accepting the admission, candidates are expected to print their JAMB admission letter, which will be required during clearance and registration at the university.

It is also important to note that mobile phone users may not be able to view the full admission status page on CAPS. To access it, candidates are advised to use the desktop mode on their browser, preferably Google Chrome, by selecting the “Request Desktop Site” option.
