Cosmopolitan University Pays Courtesy Visit to Nile University, Reaffirms NUC Mentorship Framework

Cosmopolitan University has paid a courtesy visit to Nile University, Abuja, as part of its ongoing institutional engagement and collaboration with established private universities in Nigeria.

The visit was aimed at strengthening academic relationships and reaffirming the mentorship role assigned to Nile University by the National Universities Commission (NUC). 

Under the NUC’s regulatory framework, Nile University was officially designated as the mentoring university to Cosmopolitan University, providing guidance in academic standards, administrative structures, and institutional development.

During the visit, representatives of Cosmopolitan University expressed appreciation to the management of Nile University for its continued support.

The delegation also used the opportunity to remind Nile University of its critical role as a mentoring guide, particularly in areas relating to academic programme development, quality assurance, and best practices in university governance.

Discussions during the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between both institutions, aligning operational standards, and ensuring that Cosmopolitan University continues to meet regulatory expectations as set by the NUC.

Officials from Nile University reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Cosmopolitan University within the mentorship framework, emphasizing the importance of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and institutional capacity building.
