Crescent University Explores Digital Skills Partnership with iDICE Programme
Crescent University, Abeokuta, has hosted representatives of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises, iDICE, Programme as part of ongoing efforts to create more opportunities for students and graduates to develop relevant digital skills and connect with emerging career opportunities.
The iDICE Liaison Officer, Ogun State Chapter, Mr Adefisoye A. Diligent, was received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Rasaki Kareem, alongside the Deputy Registrar, Student Affairs, Mrs K.O. Akande, Miss S.A. Akee, HOD, Cybersecurity, and members of the Information Communication Technology Centre, ICTEC, including Mr Sulaimon Sikuola, Mr Okanlawon Gafar and Mr Gbolahan Ogunyemi. The visit marked an important engagement between the university and iDICE.
The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss the potential of the iDICE initiative in supporting digital capacity development among young people and strengthening pathways from skills acquisition to employment in Nigeria’s growing technology and creative economy.
The iDICE Programme is a Federal Government-backed initiative implemented through the Bank of Industry, with support from development partners, and focuses on building the capabilities of young Nigerians in digital and creative fields.

For Crescent University, the engagement aligns with its commitment to ensuring that students are equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with practical, industry-relevant competencies that can prepare them for the changing demands of the workplace.
