CUSTECH Osara Honors Pro-Chancellor Emeritus Professor Olu Obafemi on 76th Birthday

The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has issued a formal tribute to its Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Emeritus Professor Olu Obafemi, in celebration of his 76th birthday on April 4, 2026.

In a statement released by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, FNSE, the university lauded the elder statesman as a "visionary leader" whose guidance has been fundamental to the institution's rapid growth and strategic direction.

As the Pioneer Pro-Chancellor of CUSTECH, Professor Obafemi was credited with instilling a culture of integrity and academic excellence within the university. Professor Salawu noted that the significant milestones achieved by the institution under Obafemi’s stewardship are a direct reflection of his lifelong dedication to national service and educational advancement.
