Dr. Vincent Paul, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Entrepreneurship Studies at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has urged young people to dedicate themselves to developing their skills and talents to improve their livelihoods. Speaking during a special church service at Saint Peter’s College Chapel in Garaku, Kokona Local Government Area, Dr. Paul emphasized the importance of skill development over protests as a means to achieve long-term goals.
He acknowledged the effectiveness of social media in drawing attention to issues but stressed the need for leaders to practice selflessness, transparency, and good governance to mitigate public dissatisfaction.

In the same event, Reverend Father Augustine Ashigabu, a Catholic Priest in Nasarawa State, called on the Federal and State Governments to establish a Young People Entrepreneurship Trust Fund. This fund aims to support youths in acquiring skills, addressing the root causes of nationwide agitations and protests. Father Ashigabu highlighted the importance of proactive measures, including short- and long-term programs, to engage youths sustainably amidst the current economic challenges.

Alhaji Aliyu Bello, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, also spoke at the event. He emphasized the significant role of religious leaders in ensuring the success of President Bola Tinubu's administration. Alhaji Bello urged the organizers of the nationwide protest to reconsider their plans and embrace dialogue as a means to resolve issues.
