Federal Medical Centre Misau to Host End-of-Year Lecture and Awards Ceremony

The Management of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Misau, Bauchi State, is set to host its annual End-of-Year Lecture and Award Ceremony next week.

The two-day event, scheduled for Tuesday, January 6th, and Wednesday, January 7th, 2026, aims to celebrate the institution's progress while engaging in critical discourse on healthcare management.

The central theme for the 2025 ceremony is "The Making of a Great Hospital: Who is Responsible?" The event will feature presentations from distinguished speakers:

Prof. Mohammed Alkali (DVC Admin, Federal University of Health Sciences, Azare)

Mal. Muhammed Kari (Director Admin, Federal University of Health Sciences & Technology, Azare)

The second day of the celebration, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, features community-oriented initiatives:

Free Ultrasound: Pregnant women can access free ultrasound services starting at 8:00 am at the Radiology Department, FMC Misau.

Football Novelty Match: A friendly football match will be held at 3:30 pm at the Misau Township Stadium.

The management extends an invitation to the public and staff to attend the events as they conclude the activities of the 2025 year.
