Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Extends Deadline for Service Charges Payment, Warns of Admission Forfeiture
The management of The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, has approved a final extension of the deadline for the payment of approved service charges by newly admitted students.
The management of The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, has approved a final extension of the deadline for the payment of approved service charges by newly admitted students.
The decision follows an earlier memo dated 17 December 2025 on non-payment of approved service charges, in which the institution expressed concern over low compliance despite the initial deadline of 31 December 2025.
According to the management, the extension was granted in view of the anticipated release of an additional (third) admission list for ND Full-Time and ND Part-Time programmes, and in the interest of fairness to newly admitted candidates.

The new deadline for payment of approved service charges is Friday, 30 January 2026.
The polytechnic clarified that the extension applies strictly to newly admitted students whose names will appear on the forthcoming third admission list. Students who were admitted earlier and failed to meet the 31 December 2025 deadline are not covered by the extension.
Management stated that admissions of students who failed, refused, or neglected to comply with the earlier payment directive will be forfeited and replaced with candidates from the third admission list.
