Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny Advances Digital Transformation Drive

The Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas (FPOG), Bonny, has intensified its digital transformation efforts with the deployment of digital tools aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery across its academic and administrative operations.

According to the institution, digital technology has been integrated into key areas of its operations, driving process redesign, data-driven decision-making, and cultural transformation in line with its vision of a modern, technology-enabled institution.

The Polytechnic attributed the progress to the leadership of its Rector, Dr. Victor Okolobah, whose administration has prioritized innovation and the adoption of digital solutions to enhance institutional performance.

The institution noted that the Rector's leadership combines strategic vision with technology-driven reforms to promote innovation, improve operational efficiency, and foster a collaborative work environment built on trust and continuous improvement.

As part of efforts to strengthen the digital transformation initiative, Dr. Okolobah donated six laptops to the Polytechnic to support digital learning, administration, and other technology-driven activities.

FPOG stated that the ongoing transformation is expected to enhance efficiency, improve service delivery, and position the institution as a competitive player in technology-driven higher education.
