Organised by the Sports Committee of the Polytechnic, the festival will feature a variety of sports ranging from traditional games to modern activities, alongside cultural programmes that celebrate the institution’s diversity.

According to the Public Relations Officer, Anthony Ogbe (SAR)(MCAI), the administration led by Dr. Victor Okolobah remains committed to providing an enabling environment that prioritises health, peaceful coexistence, and productivity. He emphasised that the Rector’s Sports Festival serves as a platform to strengthen unity and inspire excellence within the Polytechnic community.
“The Dr. Victor Okolobah-led administration is committed to creating and providing the necessary environment that would engender good health and peaceful coexistence from where quantum productivity could be achieved,” Ogbe stated.
He further described the event as a gateway to sustainable initiatives that will leave an indelible mark on the institution’s history and development.
