The Federal University Dutse has announced the commencement of applications for its 2025/2026 Students’ Benevolent Scholarship Scheme, aimed at supporting indigent students facing financial challenges.

The Students’ Affairs Division, in a circular dated 16th February 2026 and issued by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, invited eligible students to apply for the scheme, which covers registration fees for students unable to afford them.

Successful applicants will be selected after a thorough screening by the University’s Benevolent Committee. Interested students are required to complete the application form and submit it along with a stamped copy of their previous semester result.

The deadline for submission is Monday, 23rd February 2026. Students who have already paid their registration fees or have a verified/disbursed status from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) are not eligible to apply, the circular emphasized.

The initiative reflects FUD’s ongoing commitment to inclusive education and student welfare, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to academic opportunities.
