Federal University Gashua Enforces 75% Attendance Rule for Examinations

The Federal University Gashua has reminded all students of the importance of attending classes regularly, as the institution's Senate has directed that a minimum of 75% class attendance is required for students to be eligible to sit for examinations.

 

The directive, which was issued at the Senate's 31st Emergency Meeting held on October 10, 2024, emphasizes the need for students to take their attendance seriously. The Administrative Officer for the Academic Secretary, Hamza Abubakar Malli, has signed the directive, which warns students of strict sanctions, including being barred from examinations, for non-compliance.

The National Youth Organization of Nigeria Students' (NUYOSS) President, Federal University Gashua Chapter, Comrd. Muhammed A. Adamu, has urged all students to take their attendance seriously to avoid unnecessary consequences.
