Bayero University Kano Students' Union Government Meets with Management to Address Student Concerns

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Bayero University Kano (BUK) has engaged with the university management to discuss pressing student concerns.

A meeting was held earlier today between the SUG representatives, including President Comr. Abdullahi Usman Baba, Social Director Ahmad Abdul Ahmad, and Mahmud Yayale Farouk, and the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Management Services) and the Dean of Students' Affairs.

During the meeting, the SUG appealed for the continuation of accommodation for students participating in the Students' Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), Students' Industrial Work Experience Programme (SIWEP), and final-year students working on their projects. The union also urged the management to expedite the upload of students' details for the 2024/2025 academic session to ensure timely processing of the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
