Federal University Gusau Appoints Hajiya Nafisa Barau Suleiman as New Acting Registrar

The Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) has announced the appointment of Hajiya Nafisa Barau Suleiman as the new Acting Registrar, effective immediately.
The appointment was approved by the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Rt. Hon. Engr. Aminu Sani Isa.
Hajiya Suleiman takes over from Malam Yakubu Anivbassa, whose tenure as the second substantive Registrar of the university ended on February 4, 2025. Prior to her appointment, she served as the Deputy Registrar in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, overseeing administrative operations.
With her wealth of experience, including serving as Faculty Officer for the Faculty of Humanities and Education from 2018 to 2021, Hajiya Suleiman is well-equipped to lead the Registry Department. She is also a representative of the University Convocation in the current Governing Council.
The university community wishes her success in her new role, trusting that her leadership will continue to propel the institution forward.
