Federal University Gusau Mourns the Loss of Dr. Ganiyyat Aliyu

It is with profound sadness that the Federal University Gusau (FUGUS) community announces the passing of Dr. Ganiyyat Aliyu, Head of Department, Science Education. She was also the wife of Mallam Muhammad Lawal Jabaka.

Dr. Ganiyyat passed away at a hospital in Sokoto after undergoing surgery. Her demise has left a void in the academic community, and she will be deeply missed.

The university community extends its condolences to her husband, Mallam Muhammad Lawal Jabaka, and family, praying that Allah grants them the strength and fortitude to bear this immense loss.

May Allah accept Dr. Ganiyyat's soul, forgive her shortcomings, and grant her the highest rank in Paradise (Al-Janat). Funeral arrangements will be announced as soon as the information becomes available.

Rest in peace, Dr. Ganiyyat Aliyu. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of your students, colleagues, and loved ones.
