Federal University Lokoja Announces End of Year Break

The Federal University Lokoja has announced that the institution will be closed for the end of year break from Friday, December 20, 2024, to Sunday, January 5, 2025.

According to a statement from the Office of the Registrar, normal work will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025. However, staff on essential services are expected to remain at their posts during the break to ensure the smooth running of critical university operations.

The university management has advised all staff to switch off electrical appliances and unplug gadgets in their offices to avoid the risk of fire.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, wishes the university community a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
