Federal University Lokoja Secures Double Bronze Medals at All-Africa University Games 2024

 In an impressive display of athletic prowess, students from Federal University Lokoja (FUL) have made history by clinching two bronze medals at the ongoing All-Africa University Games 2024 in Lagos.

According to Mr. Ilori George Adebayo, Director of Sports, the medals were won in the double badminton and taekwondo events. Expressing his jubilation, Adebayo attributed the success to the unwavering support and enabling environment provided by the University's Management, led by Vice-Chancellor Professor Olayemi Akinwumi.

"The Vice-Chancellor and University Management have been instrumental in our participation and impressive performance in this championship," Adebayo stated. "We are optimistic about winning more medals in other events."

Professor Akinwumi, extending Management's appreciation to the Director of Sports and FUL's contingents, urged them to continue making the University proud. "We are thrilled with this achievement and look forward to more successes," he said.
