The Management of the Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria has officially notified staff that February 2026 salaries will be delayed due to technical issues affecting the central payroll system.

According to a memorandum from the Acting Bursar, Mohammed Kabir Aliyu, FCCA, the delay stems from problems in the central payroll and funds release systems at the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation, following the recent conversion of certain Federal Colleges of Education into universities, including FUE Zaria.

The University management is working closely with Federal Payroll Authorities to resolve the issue and ensure immediate release of affected salaries. Staff members are advised to remain patient while the matter is being addressed.

The administration expressed regret over the inconvenience and anxiety the delay may cause and apologized for the disruption, assuring prompt resolution.
