Federal University of Lafia Launches Green Environment Club and Unveils Green Area
The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has taken a significant step towards promoting environmental sustainability with the inauguration of the FULafia Green Environment Club (FULAGEC) and the unveiling of the FULafia Green Area.

The launch event, held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Permanent Site Campus, was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, and the Nasarawa State Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu.
The FULafia Green Environment Club aims to promote environmental awareness, conservation, and sustainability within the university community and beyond. The FULafia Green Area, a designated space on campus, will serve as a hub for environmental activities and initiatives.
